MVC Uniforms & Educational Supplies Arrive in Tanzania

Posted February 11th, 2014 by

“Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it.” Marian Edelman

Africa Bridge wanted to share the excitement of new school uniforms and supplies arriving in Tanzania! The apple red and navy blue uniforms, and a generous amount of school supplies reached Mpombo and Lufingo, Tanzania. The new uniforms and school supplies were delivered to the Lulasi, Ijoka, Kasanga, and Lusanje villages in Mpombo, and to the Itete, Ilalabwe, Iponjola, Lugombo, Kagwina, Simike and Kalalo villages in Lufingo.

The anxiously awaited brightly colored goods were distributed by Africa Bridge’s Most Vulnerable Children’s Committee members (MVCC) and volunteers. Everyone happily pitched in to distribute the supplies and get the supplies to their appointed destinations- into the hands of Tanzania’s most vulnerable children. The happiness and thrill of new uniforms reaching the children was palpable. The children’s precious faces tell the story. A picture really is worth a thousand words, so check out our facebook (MVC Uniforms & Educational Supplies Arrive) photo album.

Because of generous donors like YOU, children are getting the help they need. With your partnership, Africa Bridge can continue to bring aid to Tanzania’s most vulnerable children.

Thank you!
